Crime Analysis personnel are responsible for the collection, collation, assembling, and analysis of information on criminal activity in the City of Garland. The Crime Analysis Unit assists the department by providing accurate and timely information about criminal activity.
Combatting Criminal Activity
This information will increase investigative leads, assist in solving cases, and provide warning of new criminal activity which may show crime pattern changes in existing criminal activity. The department will then have an opportunity to gain an advantage over criminals, and through the provided statistics, assist in tactical and strategic planning to combat criminal activity.
