Garland Animal Services was recognized by Director of Dallas County Health and Human Services Philip Huang and Manager of Environmental Health/Mosquito Control Scott Sawlis at the Garland City Council Nov. 5 Regular Meeting.
The animal shelter staff were recognized for the outstanding work done in partnership with the Dallas County Health Department, from answering questions related to state laws on pet ownership to assisting picking up stray animals.
