The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) thanks the public and its member cities and customers for conserving water while critical maintenance at the Wylie Water Treatment Plan Complex was completed. The latest update from NTMWD is available on its website.
While drought conditions persist and demand for water increases, it’s important for each of us to use water wisely. Check your plumbing for leaks and expedite repairs, turn off faucets while soaping your hands or brushing your teeth, and fill your dishwasher before running it. These are just a few simple things we can all do to save water. For outdoor conservation, water early in the morning to prevent excessive evaporation. Check your irrigation system for leaks and to make sure sprinkler heads are working properly.
